Description: Built by De Kleer in Canada, a well respected builder of well built and strong boats in USA and Canada, with good resale values.
Having previously cruised the South Pacific, it was purchased by current owner in New Zealand, and sailed around New Zealand before heading across the Tasman Sea to Sydney and then up to Townsville.
"Catana" is of solid fibreglass construction, spacious interior, and plenty of good headroom. It has been lived aboard and cruised and is in a nice condition.
Great headspace on this very comfortable vessel.
A major refit was undertaken in 2007, in New Zealand and the owner has continued to upgrade and maintain the vessel regularly, with it being used weekly.
A new 30hp 3 cyl diesel engine was installed in 2009 with few hours on it, especially in light of the oversize rigging.
The present owner sailed the boat from NZ to here and lived on the boat for two years with his wife and two small children who have now outgrown the boat and he has reluctantly placed it on the market. He has priced the boat to meet the market and it is good value for money
